Three things
it could
do next.
The site is the part that is built. Three things can be switched on behind it: taking the booking, texting back a caller nobody could reach, and asking for the review nobody ever gets round to asking for. None of the three is running tonight. This is a description of what they would be.
Taking
the booking.
An artist with a machine in one hand does not answer the phone, and in this trade the job starts with a consultation rather than a walk-up. A booking made on this site does not sit in an inbox until somebody opens it at closing. It lands on the shop’s calendar, and the slot goes with it.
Two messages follow on their own. One straight away, confirming what is in the book. One before the appointment, reminding them it is there. The reminder is the part that cuts no-shows: the customer who forgot was never the customer who changed their mind.
Where the trade warrants it, a deposit can be taken at the same moment as the slot. Whether the shop wants one on the book is the shop’s call, not this page’s.

Another shop’s appointment fell over five minutes out and this one caught the work. It cuts both ways: the shop that confirms and then reminds is the shop still holding the chair at six o’clock.

Inert. This panel books nothing and never has.
There is no booking system at Memory Lane Tattoo Club. The panel is a drawing of one. The days and times it offers are the shop’s real published hours: one in the afternoon, six days out of seven, ten on Friday and Saturday, Sunday shut.
The two messages under it are what would send themselves. Nothing sends today.
When the phone
rings out.
Friday and Saturday the doors hold until ten and the chairs are working. The phone rings anyway. Nobody with clean hands is free to pick it up, and whoever is calling has three more shops open in the same search.
A missed-call text-back answers it. Seconds after the call rings out, a text goes to that number from the number they just rang: sorry we missed you, what can we help with? The conversation carries on by text. A text is a thing you can answer between sessions. A ringing phone is not.
No voicemail to check at the end of the night, no callback list on the counter. The caller stays in a thread until somebody in the shop picks it up.

4.9 across 183 reviews is not a thing a shop talks itself into. Every one of them was volunteered: somebody got home, opened Google and typed, unprompted. There is no mechanism behind that number. The next one arrives whenever somebody happens to feel like it.
A review engine asks. Once, after the visit, by text or by email, while the piece is still wrapped and the artist’s name is still in their head. Before it asks, it checks how the visit went.

Cody was not asked either. Neither were the other hundred and eighty-two. This is the one thing the shop already wins on, and it is running on nothing but goodwill.
Nobody is being asked for a review today. There is no engine behind this page, only a description of one.
None of it is
switched on.
There is no booking panel at Memory Lane Tattoo Club, no text goes out when a call is missed, and nobody is being asked for a review. All three are proposals DEX Builds is making, written down here the way they would actually work, so the shop can judge them before agreeing to any of it.
What any of it costs is not on this page. That is a conversation with a person, not a figure printed on a preview.
The hours in the panel, the address in the reminder, the phone number, the 4.9 and the 183, all of it lifted straight off the Google profile. The panel, the text thread and the review flow are drawings.
Nothing has been switched on, nothing has been signed, and the shop has agreed to none of it.
