Fine line and stipple shading. Portrait realism. Medusas, animal portraits, florals worked down a thigh. Every piece on the wall is black and grey, no colour anywhere in it.

Some of it is somebody’s first. Some of it is a sleeve built over months with the same artist.

The sign
is a real sign.

MEMORY LN · TATTOO CLUB, green and municipal, bolted to the wall over the chairs. That is where the name came from, and it has not moved since.

Around it: framed prints, hand-painted skate decks, a wooden crucifix, a Dodgers pennant. Less studio, more front room.
