Two cases and a table, in one room. The bread case sits by the rack oven at the back: bolillos and birotes, which is what the regulars come for. Along the wall, the pastry case. And whole cakes, already finished, waiting in the glass.

By the rack oven at the back. Birote is a Guadalajara bread, and hardly anywhere in Indianapolis bakes it, which is why the regulars ask for it by name. Buy it the day you want it.

No closed day: Monday through Sunday, thirteen hours a day. There is no day of the week we are shut.
A cake today: Take one from the case and go. A birthday can be solved on the way home. For a particular flavour or a particular day, call first.
